Speak instead of typing

Tap the microphone button in the message box, allow microphone access if your browser asks, and speak. Your words appear in the box; check them, then tap send.

Voice input uses your browser's speech recognition. It works in Chrome and Edge on Android and computers, and in Safari on recent iPhones. If you don't see the microphone button, your browser doesn't support it; you can still type.
